Are there ever any better hands that fold here? Or perhaps worse hands that call?

You've effectively turned a hand with a minor amount of value here into a huge bluff.

what was the purpose of the river raise?

My hand jumped from 2 pairs to a flush. So i thought it was my hand.

there are two reasons you make this raise

    1. you feel worse hands will call (a raise for value)
    2. you feel better hands will fold (a raise as a bluff)

    which one was it

You need to seriously consider what "relative hand strength" means, and also what range a 3betting tagg might have on the bb and what he may do with each of these hands to your bet.

2 pairs is a TON more powerful of a hand when each of the cards have paired in your hand.

If you have T8o on a T82r board. That's a whole different and much better two pair than having 55 on a T822 board. In which case any T, any 8 and any pp 66 and better has you destroyed.

Also having a really low card on a 4-flush board is not so good, Having a low card flush on a 3-flush board is *much* better.

I mean, think about it, if everyone has a flush, having a low flush is bad for you. In both of these situations I would argue that you over valued your hand because you look at the relative hand strength.

    You thought:

OMG I have a flush, which beats a set, 2 pair, a straight, top pair, and high card!

Instead of: Ick.. I have a low end of a 4-flush which is rather vulnerable, and I really need to be careful with my money here.

And to make it worse a paired board.

I have never thought of my hand as a two pair hand when the board pairs. It still comes down to my two cards vs his two cards since we both have the second pair. Same with 4 flush boards. Without a huge card I don't see no flush. Certainly not when I hold the 5h.

This is typical level 0 thinking, "what do I have?" when you should be asking, "what does he have?"

    Celtic, What does he have?

We had a dude here a while back that had your kind of arrogance. His name? Luckys7evin.. You should see what our regs did to him once they got tired of his shit.

Tone it down, if you post a hand, and we tell you, that you played it wrong, guess what, you played it wrong, accept it.

    ASK WHY

And move on. This is your free pass. Don't do it again, or you'll be the one regretting it, not us. You'll be like a guppy in a tank of sharks.

seriously, how many cheques do you think this donk could be cashing playing $25NL half stacked.

One more outburst like that and I won't post in another Celtic thread.
