wondering where the 3 extra chairs at my 6max table came from

    Default Set on straight board

    Vil is 45/6/3.9 over 280 w/ 45% cold call, 0% 3bet

PF range I figure PPs, mix of prolly suited paint and, w/ that cold call frequency, also suited connectors.

From the flop call, I know T9 and 88 are obv in his range. But I also figure overpair and possible two-pair are there. I lead the turn 'cause the board is drawie, and don't want TT getting there if a 9 hits the river. Once I bet, a) I'm basically committed w/ 50% of my stack in the middle and b) I'm still seeing a chunk of his range as two pair or now QQ+ -- knowing I'm dead to JJ, T9 & 88. Fold to the shove?

    Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Ultimate-Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($15.84)
    Hero (UTG) ($13.79)
    MP ($23.98)
    Button ($22.56)
    SB ($81.13)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7, 7
Hero raises to $0.85, MP calls $0.85, 3 folds

    Flop: ($2.05) 6, 7, 8 (2 players, 1 all-in)
Hero bets $2.05, MP calls $2.05

    Turn: ($6.15) J (2 players, 2 all-in)
Hero bets $3, MP raises to $15.15, Hero calls (All-In)

    River: ($36.73) 3 (3 players, 4 all-in)

    Total pot: $36.73 | Rake: $1.10

Im opedipus bitch, the original balla.
This is an easy felt, especially with your stack size. And even without it I'm b/3bAI this turn. The only thing I can think of saying is to lead the turn harder here, unless you had a read he would shove over the weakness.

4 allin if they play tightly then fold 77

set + 50bb's (or 100bb's in this hand) = all-in. definitely can't fold here. as stated this is a really easy felt.

please dont do this. the 'think tank' section forums aren't for story telling; they are for learning how to analyze and make decisions in poker hands.

I only shut down on turn if board gets more drawy, say 9h, or something sick like that.

Turn could be played many ways, I like the one you picked and you played it right. As long as you get it all in, your on hte money. Your range is awfully tight for a fish with those stats, both loose bad and aggro bad.
