Working Out Pot Odds
Hello chaps,
First post! I have been playing Texas No Limits poker for a while so I am familiar with the game and I would like to take it to the next level.
I have been reading up about how to calculate the Pot Odds which is fine in most situations.
However, how do you calculate the pot odds if you are immediately dealt a pair - say 10's and the flop doesn't give you anything (i.e. no chance of a straight, flush etc.).
Does that mean you are left with 2 outs? And therefore your odds are not very good?
What happens if you are dealt a pair of ace's and the flop doesn't give you anything? Does that mean your odds are still not very good? But you would obviously continue with the hand.
Thanks.
