Does anybody else find microlimits horrible to play in?!

I tried my hand at $5NL (BB = 4cents) and could not get anyone to fold preflop! I played like a rock, only waiting for group 0,1,2 or 3 hands (taken from this site), bet preflop only to have everyone call and take me out with crap like 52o!
Even when I went all in with KK I got 5 callers!

Is it better just to limp into every flop in these limits and wait for a monster flop before betting?

Even though I am not quite bankrolled for the $25NL tables (I have about 12-13buy ins), I feel much more comfortable on those tables - granted there are still idiots who play crap hands (but then again, they are the ones that give me $$), but I feel the level of play is much more sensible on these limits. I've been trying to look for tight tables with 2 or 3 loose players and maybe 1 manic and even though I have only broken even so far, I have had upswings where I have easily doubled my buy ins...
