I'm playing at the same limits as you. (.01/.02 and .02/.04). I also posted here a few weeks ago about my frustrations with trying to play 'sensible' poker and getting drawn out on. Here is what I have been doing in the micro limit cash games where you are getting multiple callers even with large raises. Take this with a grain of salt as I do not consider myself a cash game player( I rather play MTT's and SnG's), but i do enjoy playing them.
Now keep in mind that much of this is based on your reads not just your hands, play smart because pure aggression will not pay off at a table of calling stations.
I try to buy in at the maximum each time and love when i can sit at a able where most people are down a few bucks already or bought in below the max. Stack size matters in NL holdem.
Now when i first sit, i play pretty tight and try to get a read, some tables will be fairly tight and respect a 5xbb raise. Some will not and have the players that want to just see the flop at any price.
My strategy is pretty simple at a table with calling stations. When I feel based on my reads that I'm holding the best hand pre flop... I push...
If you push all-in with the best of it and get called you stand to make money long term, you may get drawn out on a few times. This happens but long term with the best of it, you'll have a +EV. If someone does draw out on you, reload and sit back down. Make a hand and push again, the same person will likely call you again. If you get in with the best of it each time he will pay you off, have patience.
At a table with calling stations you don't want them to draw for cheap and 5 or even 10xbb is cheap to a fish playing .01/.02 micro limit.
Pre flop I'll push with pairs 88 or greater in middle to late position. I'll push with AK or AQ if no tight player has raised in front of me. (If someone raises in front of you, trust your reads. With no read, tighten up you requirments)
Early position, I'll push with TT or bigger, and AK suited.
I'll limp in with low to mid pairs(22 to 77), if i flop a set against a calling station, I push and hope someone wants to call with their flush or straight draw.
Keep a couple things in mind though...
If you are getting multiple pre flop all-in callers you may want to switch tables. It will be a lot tougher to double up in this situation.
Just because you may be playing tight against loose players, doesn't mean you can toss out your reads. Even fish can get big hands. You'll see their betting patterns change when they do. Remember, a fish is only playing his cards, he's not concerned with yours.
Be aware of the decent players at the table, not all players there are fish. Know who they are, play them accordingly.
