flop TPTK raised by unknown
so these spots vs unknowns are still weird for me.
villain is 0/0 over 26 hands.
so i have no ideea about his preflop range.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
saw flop
CO ($4.05)
Button ($9.08)
SB ($8.35)
BB ($11.93)
UTG ($10)
UTG+1 ($7.47)
MP1 ($11.86)
Hero (MP2) ($10.52)
MP3 ($22.03)
Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A, Q
3 folds, Hero bets $0.35, 2 folds, Button calls $0.35, 2 folds
Flop: ($0.85) 8, Q, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, Button raises to $1.40, Hero calls $0.80
the raise seems small to me. the reasonable assumption would be a set here, but why would you raise a set on such a dry board when you are IP and there are a lot of chances opp will fodl and you lose value?by calling a set here you will get another bet on turn from opp and you can raise then;could be to build the pot but also i am thinking he is Qx or JT,J9,9T, 99,TT,JJ and tryes to get pot now , so i call.
wrong flop analyze? should i just fold this vs unknowns and waite other hands to see how he plays?
Turn: ($3.65) 10 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $2, Hero?
when turn T comes i am thinking that gave him straight (J9), set (TT), 2 pairs ( QT) and again bet size is 50-60% of pot so not that big, but he maybe he just wants to get called.
what the best line here vs unknown? b/f? c/c? c/f?
not a very unusual hand, but opp being unknow i still have problems making decisions here. my tendency is to fold and wait to get reads on him , but i am thinking that maybe i am folding best hand too many times vs unknowns on spots like this vs unknowns.
so pls, advices on what would be better on flop and turn also vs unknowns. ty.
