    Default Show one show all

8 players - After the river, I bet. Only one player left. He folds. I show him my hand. Am I obligated to show all?

    Thanks.

Technically, house rules dictate. I've only played in a few casinos, but the rule was show 1, show all every time. Just ask the dealer if you're not sure.

Ethically, show 1, show all is only fair. However, at a home game, showing 1 person could be the norm, so, again, house rules dominate.

Generally the rule is that if a player asks, then the dealer has to turn your hand over for everyone to see. So you don't have to show your hand, but the dealer will if another player asks for it.
Whatever the house rules are, it is always bad etiquette to show your hand to just one player.

No you don't need to show everyone hand is over.

If he folds you don't have to show.
But if you choose to show then you do have to show everyone not just one player.

you got it right with your title - 'Show one show all'.
