    Default $100nl -TP IP w/Ax

Villain is 16/9/1.0. I've stolen blinds more than anyone at the table for the past 3-4 orbits, but nothing *too* crazy.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    MP ($100)
    Hero ($103.55)
    Button ($100.20)
    SB ($62.95)
    BB ($114.45)
    UTG ($97.50)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, 5.
2 folds, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, BB calls $3.

    Flop: ($8.50) A, 4, 9 (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks.

    Turn: ($8.50) 3 (2 players)
BB bets $4, Hero calls $4.

    River: ($16.50) K (2 players)
BB bets $4, Hero calls $4.

    Final Pot: $24.5

I'm not sure if I should have been getting a raise in there somewhere or not, especially on the river. Comments?

I felt like it was pretty close to a WA/WB situation against a really tight range. Also I thought I could get more value by provoking a turn bet from hands that missed the flop without getting in too big of a pot against a bigger ace.

Or should I expect to get called down by something like TT for multiple streets here?

you could probably get 2 streets in against TT or somewhere in there. i still bet flop, and if he donks into me on turn i call, same with river.

In fullring I like checking flop, but not sure in shorthanded. WA/WB here is less frequent in 6max.

you definitely can get value from people in 6max here by cbetting. its almost MORE suspicious to check on such a dry board with low cards + an ace. you should already be cbetting so much in 6 max that you will be called by

    - a pair of fours or nines
    - many pocket pairs

because nobody believes you. but you also should be firing a lot on turns too, even when you missed based on boards. So you have probably 2 streets of value and a check/call river.

well he only has a AF of 1. i would be a little surprised if he bet a 9 here especially two streets with that K, and our kicker sucks obv. i agree with ISF that this is a Ax better kicker. the bottome line is betting flop makes this a whole hell of a lot easier.
