    Default Outs

Probley a stupid question, but when figuring outs, do you count all posible outs? ie. first two cards QJ suited You could flop a pair, set, flush, straight, ect... , do you add all those outs together? Or mabey you only count outs on the turn and river, when going for something in perticular?

Count all your outs after the flop.

so in your example: You have QJs: Flop is As Th 3s
if someone has an Ace you are behind, so your outs are 4 (for the K) + 9 (flush) - 1 (Ks) = 12
