Hi all,

I have a question about the various Buttons used in Hold'em:

I understand the Dealer, SB & BB... but what are the "Kill" & " Miss" Buttons I have seen around?

Those buttons are used in casino play more than online / home games.

I don't think I've ever heard of the Miss button, but this will help you with the kill button.

*Edit* Sometimes a player will come in before or in the middle of the blinds. The dealer will but a puck that says "Miss" in front of that player. That way the dealer will know not to deal to that person. Dealer will take away the "miss" as soon as the button passes and deal that player in.

I think that's the miss button. But again, my lack of casino play limits me on my knowledge of their rules.
