Default which poker site to play on with 50$

    UB-> offers 10NL ring games
    3+0 tournements
    5+.50 tournies

Pradise poker-> 2 nl ring games <--which i think is awesome
    5+.50 tournies

Ub seems some what better but I hear UB players are less "fishy" than
    paradise poker..

    could I get some advice

Save up for $200 and play Party .5/1 or $25NL or $10 SnG. Those are by far some of the softest games on the internet.

No reason to start playing poker with $200, the odds are you will lose it anyway, so its better to start with a low amount and play at the micro limit.

Sign up with UB and play the penny poker, either Limit or No Limit, if you double your bankroll (Your original investment) move up to the next level and repeat.

This way you can build experiance playing with real money and it won't cost you lots of $$.

Also if you havnt already, you should buy Theory of Poker, its in the links section. The book will pay for itself trust me.

If you have already played on poker sites before and are looking to play in the limits Fnord suggested then he's right save up, but I would suggest $300.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .

If you ever heard of Superior Poker it is really good for beginners. I first tried playing at Party Poker and lost $200 and i quit playing for a long time.

I then found Superior Poker, it only has a $25 deposit minimum allowing you to play for cheap while you are beginning, they offer sng for as little as $1 to get you going.

One big disadvantage is though that there arent nearly as many players on at one time, making it hard to find a tournament to play during daytime hours. Weekends and evenings are just fine.

The also offer 10% rake on all their tournies including $5 and they also have penny poker as well. The tables are really loose so its not that hard to make money. I have since made back over $100 and you can use Neteller to deposit. After you feel comfortable you can transfer money from Superior Poker to Party Poker via Neteller (its probably the same everywhere, I don't know).

Currently I am trying to build a bankroll big enough on Superior poker until i feel comfortable going back to Party Poker.
