Help Me Understand

Could someone please explain this to me. I am just curious. I play $4NL on Merge blinds of .02/.04. It is folded to me and i decide to raise preflop if I hit the pot button it goes to 14 cents. How does that work? There is 6 cents in and if its my call first that would make the pot 10 cents so are they counting the raise as 4 cents only? Is that how they work it? Thanks for any info.

Yes - it's effectively a min raise plus what's already in the pot.

dead money = 6
call would be 4 ; pot would be 10
raise = 10
call + raise = 14
