    Default Colour coding and notes

I've gotta get back to taking more notes and colour coding players before I move to higher stakes. It's been a leak of mine forever.

Apart from standard note taking and assigning a colour are there any AHKs, short cuts or software for stars that makes this simple and faster? maybe a vid that shows how someone has streamlined it?

Well through playing on Stars alone I found under the notes in options how to set my "left click to assign label (colours)" and have "select 'notes' tab when assigning label"

This has made things easier already, but thought I would post for others as well.

Does anyone know where and if you can keep the steal focus under better control? There used to be an AHK for that too. Not just for notes, but when typing in say another window or browser not on Stars.

    Ya it is, thanks.

Now Stars is not keeping y colour coding of players or it's label. And it has never kept my table settings and I have to change the cardbacks every time I sit.

just checking you are always playing from the same computer, first obvious thing to look at.

yeh, i had a similar problem a while back.

PS support reckoned it was down to a corrupt user.ini file:
"Generally if any local personalized settings cannot be saved from session to session, the cause is commonly a corrupt "user" or "user.ini" file. The file is the same and may just appear with/without the file extension depending on your computer settings.

To resolve this problem, you should delete or rename the file "user.ini". You may locate this file by opening the main lobby and clicking on "Help" -> "My Settings Folder". Once you have located the file first close the PokerStars software and then delete or rename that file. Then restart the PokerStars software and a new "user.ini" file will be created.

Please note that one potential cause of a corrupt user.ini file is having a large number of player images blocked individually.
If you have made it a habit to block each player image you encounter, this problem may recur unless you limit the number of images you choose to block. Our software team is aware of this potential problem."

i can't verify the above, as the problem sorta fixed itself when PS released the next update
