In both hands we seem to be targetting a very small % of his range.
Hand 1 we're trying to make him fold top pair hands that he's called twice... if he gives you bricked draws in your range then he's getting a decent price to catch you bluffing. He doesn't have many bricked flush draws himself, and besides, we beat the ones he does have, and he probably checks behind on river after we show two streets of strength. Seems to me villain likes his hand enough here.
Hand 2 I can only see villain folding Ahx or Khx hands, again hands we often beat at showdown.
This is why I often like to check rivers after firing flop and turn when I have a nutty hand on drawy board, not only does it give villain chance to bluff his missed draws but it alerts villain to the fact I can be trappy on river, thus allowing me cheap showdowns with marginal showdown hands like middle pair or ace high 6max etc.
I don't have any issues with triple barrelling, but we have to be realistic about how much FE we have when we do it. I don't think we have much in either hand.
