Free $$ - FTP Academy Challenges

Daven posted this in Bikes' blog but I thought I'd reproduce it here for better BC visibility. This is free goodies/money without having to change anything to what you are normally doing, so go for it. Especially worthy when you are grinding a roll at the nanostakes.

also - it's not worth much on the $$ front, but FTP academy = why not just tick off the challenges as you play for free money. They have a widget for the lobby so you just click on it to repeat whenever you notice you've got one done. Below is a list of the challenges in approximate order of easiest to complete without making any changes to your normal game. 250k hands you'll probably get around a few hundred worth in value

speculative hands
sizing up opponents
online tells
5 common holdem leaks
math made easy
power of position

Go here for the cash game challenges, log in and select the challenge you want, then install that widget in your lobby.

Just to clarify how it works, by completing the challenges, you earn FTPA points (distinct from your normal Full Tilt Points) with which you can purchase goodies in the FTPA store (distinct from the normal Full Tilt store). However if you wish you can also convert your FTPA points into normal Full Tilt Points by chunks of 5000 min.

Apparently you can repeat each challenge 10 times, so you can keep doing the easiest ones over and over again.

Some I'd them state it must be nlh cash games, does that include rush?

From the site:

The following games cannot be used to complete challenges: Rush Poker, Multi-Entry Tournaments, and On-Demand Tournaments.

Oh, and one more thing is that there is no time constraint to complete a challenge.
