    Default KK vs wet board

    5NL FR

    Hero is UTG+1 with 80BB's
    MP has 100BB's
    Button has 30BB's

    I am UTG+1 with (KdKh)

    I raise to 4BB's
    MP- calls. He is a maniac who is playing ATC. Running 40/30 for 200 hands.
    Button calls- running 30/8 for 100 hands

    Flop- (13.5 BB in pot)
    Ac 6c As

    MP's range is literally ATC. He has been bluffing frequently (on nitty table) and showing the bluffs.
    Buttons range based on last 100 hands is {A7o+, A2s+, K9s+, KJo+, 88+}

    If I bet out and MP folds, button calls I could change his range to {A7o+, A2s+, Kcxc}
    If I bet out and MP raises or jams flop then I am probably drawing almost dead.
    I really don't give any respect to MP if he raises me here.. I'm fine with getting it allin vs his range in this position.

    Would it be better to check/raise here? Find out if someone really has an ace... or to bet out and fold to resistance?

    Your hand is a bluff-catcher, so c/c > bet.

    I was talking this hand over with someone and they said that the turn is a better spot to discuss. Some details I might have had wrong, as I was posting purely from memory.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP3 ($6.80)
    CO ($0.90)
    Button ($9.88)
    SB ($7.98)
    BB ($5)
    UTG ($5)
    Hero (UTG+1) ($6.27)
    MP1 ($3.13)
    MP2 ($5.20)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K, K
    1 fold, Hero bets $0.20, MP1 calls $0.20, 2 folds, CO calls $0.20, 3 folds

    Flop: ($0.67) A, 6, A (3 players)
    Hero checks, MP1 checks, CO bets $0.16, Hero calls $0.16, 1 fold

    Turn: ($0.99) J (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO bets $0.54 (All-In), Hero ?? How bad is a call here?

    I took an ace out of his range after the bet on the flop. I think that with a 3 way pot and 2clubs on the board that he has to protect his hand from a flushdraw. The range that I have him on
    {Kcxc, JJ, QQ}

    His stats are: Vp 38/ Pfr 8/ Afq 37

    I don't hate the call because you are getting 3:1 and people do crazy things, but folding is better. The thing is, he doesn't bet the flop with any naked J's he can now bet on the turn, so his made hand range is almost entirely trips or better when he bets twice. I'd also discount draws because fish will usually c/c their draws or take a bet small/call line.

    It's wrong to think that other people think the way you do about poker or even know about charging draws, maybe he does, maybe not, but you can't take Ax out of his range headed to the turn. In fact, his suck bet on the flop, followed by a bigger bet on the turn, is probably standard for him whenever he flops a monster.

    I mean, he's so short, it doesn't really matter, but given the action, you can fold the turn, you're not good. If he had bet the same size on the turn as on the flop (true for bigger stacks, too), then he often has a draw and you could raise for value and protection.
