5NL 6max - flopped trips in the BB, river double pairs board

MP2 is 100 / 0 / 0.4 over 4 hands
SB is 100 / 0 / - over 1 hand

It's the river that I am interested into here. His river range is busted flush draws, 3X, JX, and a bunch of pocket pairs.

I'd c/c most bets and fold if he shoves/overbets or snap pots it.

Since MP2 is presumably passive, he shouldn't be making any crazy bluffs on the river with a busted fd for example, so you could just c/f. Another option is to b/f small, like .3 or so, to get value from an A or pps. Def fold if he bets big or raises.

Nice one I think, because when he has a busted FD for example, it would probably take him a few seconds to shift from "I hope to hit my diamond" to "hey, he checked, he probably has a 3 and I have a chance to take it by repping a J".

edit: come to think of it, it's maybe giving him a lot of credit to think about it at all AND have the balls to do it.

I don't hate the small b/f for thin value either, esp. as we can't really count on inducing a bluff when we check.
