This is the first hand i have ever posted. I was unable to post my converted hand due to not having enough posts. Can someone please convert it for me? I am pretty new to playing poker seriously, i have been reading on this forum quite a bit, and i need to know how you think this hand was played. I had no information on this guy since i had been multi-tabling, and had only been playing this table for a few minutes. Did i play it ok? What would you have done differently?

Now when the turn came i just thought "oh ya i hope he hit his flush", then the river came i really expected that he had hit his flush...

Pretty much a cold deck but, my god, is the sizing ever awful by all involved... If you're going to bet the flop - which is probably fine, imo - you should try to make it more like 0.10-0.12 or so here.

On the turn, we've (sort of) lucked out because we hit a full house just as the board came a flush. Betting is fine but again make it a greater % of the pot. We should be thinking about getting as much of villain's stack in here as possible; how much do we have to bet now in order to get the greatest amount in on the river?

River, I don't mind how you played it since hands involving the Ah is going to make up such a huge portion of villain's range at this level. I'm pretty sure I'd raise then call while high-fiving my monitor. This would be next to impossible to get away from under most circumstances. I'd like to hear if anyone feels otherwise though.


Also, don't post hand results ever so as not to colour the opinions of those who reply. As for why you can't convert the hand, I believe you need 10 posts min to do so.

I raise the turn and go broke here every time. You cant get away from this at 2nl even if you're this deep.

I would raise more after the flop something like 4 times big blind. If he calls, I should put him on a queen. With this bet het could have a wider range like a flush draw or maybe even AK
The 9 on the turn makes a Full House for you, and the bet is actually still to low, cause I would like to put the most of my chips in. But the end wat just unlucky, you may could put him on two queens, but I would call too on 2NL

Thanks for the advice. It sounds like the overall consensus is that i need to practice proper bet sizing and i was pretty much destined to loose my stack on that hand?

Can you get away from the turn at like any stake bellow 1k nl 100bb deep?

I would definitely bet bigger on all streets. Your flop bet is basically a check and loses a lot of value against his entire calling range.
