    Default somebody check my math

I didn't want to highjack the "Was I wrong" thread but i had a hand last night against a frequent shover. I read the "How to analyze an All-in" article and i'm attempting to use that math against my hand. Please check this out and let me know if my math is correct.

Pot prior to all in .11
    Amount of all in 2.00

    I only have 1.5 behind.

According to the formuala i should do 1.5/(1.5+2.11)
    This fraction is .415

I am holding AQo and i am fairly certain that villians range is 22+ A2s.
He has done this 3 times since i've been at table and each time someone called and he was within this range.

According to stove my equity is 48.9 against this range so this is a +EV to call. Am i correct??

Make sure that the pot size when it's your turn to act is the real pot size for you and doesn't include any bets you can't cover with your stack.

Thansk spoon, so what your saying is because he has be covered, the true pot size was 1.61 because he had me covered by .50.

    1.5/(1.5+1.61) =.482
    against 48.9 equity

    That's CLOSE!

Right. You can think about it as your call size divided by the total final pot after you call and see a showdown.

This assumes it will be a two-person pot. Playing a coin flip for your stack is one thing, but if there are others still to act, that should be taken into consideration. While someone else entering the pot is low probability, it has a significant impact on your equity.
