    Default Couple Hands

    10NL FR
    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP2 ($37.33)
    CO ($10)
    Button ($9.75)
    SB ($7.85)
    BB ($10.40)
    UTG ($11.04)
    Hero (MP1) ($10)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, J
    1 fold, Hero bets $0.40, MP2 raises to $0.70, 3 folds, BB calls $0.60, Hero calls $0.30

    Flop: ($2.15) Q, 4, 8 (3 players)
BB bets $1.10, Hero calls $1.10, 1 fold

    Turn: ($4.35) A (2 players)
BB bets $2.30, Hero raises to $8.20 (All-In)

    Total pot: $8.95

Now obviously, especially at FR I'm not calling a 3bet with AJ OOP but, having relative position and also the fact that the large stack was running 86/54 with a 9 AGf made it okay I think. The other caller was pretty standard tight, hadn't been involved in many pots with him.

Looking back on this I realize how backward my thinking is and how horribly this is played.

On the flop his bet tells me either a hand like KQ, AQ, sets, or flush draws that he is trying to steal with. I call because I feel like I have some implied odds especially if we both have FDs and a club hits, and I also just see the large stack calling or folding unless he hits in which case I can fold.

Turn gives me a pair and he bets again but kind of small which was a bit suspicious to me but could have once again been a FD. Here's where my awful play happens. The shove is just so fucking bad because 1) only better is calling and 2) I'm probably folding out any FDs and Qs he might be doing this with that I could easily either c/c or valuetown at showdown. So yeah... I hate my shove here but I'm just posting so I could write out the anlysis.

    10NL 6m
Decided to give 6m a go again since I was running like garbage at FR. Lol @ me.

Villain in the following hand was a reggish 18/16 who had seemed in line and was able to fold. I'd been opening pretty wide and stealing a lot but was probably running 27/23 about.
    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP ($10.40)
    Hero (CO) ($11.40)
    Button ($8.50)
    SB ($37.75)
    BB ($10)
    UTG ($10.06)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K, 4
    2 folds, Hero bets $0.40, 1 fold, SB calls $0.35, 1 fold

    Flop: ($0.90) 5, 2, 3 (2 players)
SB bets $0.60, Hero calls $0.60

    Turn: ($2.10) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $0.80, Hero raises to $3.45, SB calls $2.65

    River: ($9) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6.95 (All-In)

    Total pot: $9

To me, his range the whole time looks like a 66-88 type hand, though I guess it could also include some 5s and or Ax hands looking for the wheel possibly with a pair in them.

With that said I definitely should have taken into account how deep he was when thinking about bluffing here. What do you think? Is my though process okay or is this just terribad all the way around?

    right on, on both.
    -call #1,
-go with the bluff on #2 if theres any game flow reason or any other stupid reason to do so. it'd be better if you were otb but whatever, im all for these types of moves. your 4 isnt face up so make him make the big hero call.
here is my inspiration, ISF upset that he lost a dollar: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...806.html#28211

Hand 1: I agree with your analysis.

Hand 2: His donk bet could be strength or weakness. It's not a good flop for him to bluff at since you could easily have an overpair or strong overcards. I think a call would be best on the flop, given your OESD.

His Turn bet does looks weak, but obviously could be bait. You don't want to be a calling station, but a call lets you see a cheap River. If you miss the River, you might still be able to check behind.

As played, I don't think he calls your Turn raise without a strong hand. With the scare card on the River, your bluff will work some of the time. You set it up well. On the other hand, I'd take the opportunity to check behind and save a little money.

hand 1: why didn't you assign a range Pre to BB whos "pretty tight" and calling a 3bet out of position. I would have thought its more likely to be QQ+ (but could be set mining any PP)and AK so when it gets to the flop is he going to have KQ and AQ. This then leaves sets overpairs and flush draws in his range and you block his flush draws in his probable pre range. I think I'm calling the turn and hoping for a club to get the money in with.

Hand 2: I'd call this a steal....you flop an open ender, i'd have called flop and turn and folded river. He doesn't call pre, and your big turn raise with a mediocre hand or a draw. I'd check behind as I don't think he's folding to your bet and if he's calling what do you beat? Looks like he is waiting for you get the money in and then calling or shoving over.
