I knew the C/R on the river was possibly coming but had to call the $0.60 bet by the CO. And yes, I should have raised the button pre but was trying to get too tricky I think with keeping a few in if I flopped hard.

CO was 77.8/22.2 over only 63 hands, I knew I wanted to play against him with position...raising the button would have probably helped that

SB was 24/12 over only 25 hands.

I thought long and hard about this spot and it's still tilting me to an extent. Yeah, QT is in his range but given his stats and raising position I have to think AK/AA is about the only hand he really holds here, and with me holding a blocker to AK then I really have to give him credit for AA in this spot don't I?

It just seems a really weird line to take with the nuts on that scary a board to hope someone bets behind you so you can then shove? I know if it got to me without a bet I'd have checked behind with some showdown value.

Can we ever be good here enough to make a call profitable?

Not really, although OP should raise preflop.

Limping can be fine given the right conditions, though I would raise almost always. I fold flop, as played turn is fine now fold river.

Yeah, agree that the flop is kind of the cause but the board did end up in the sort of situation I was hoping for when i decided to limp behind rather than raise, though looking back over their stats I'd say co would have called a raise anyway and I'd have likely been playing him heads-up with position which then makes this easier.

On the river I figured the CO to have the other king and would be often good here against them I think but when the button raises, given the preflop action and them firing the first two streets into two people and then check-raising, I have to give them credit for a big hand...however, doesn't the check-raise seem fishy to anyone else?

I folded this hand, but now I am looking back at the action I'm thinking that their c/r shove was more of a bluff than anything. Neither co or I have shown any great interest in the pot and have been passive the whole way, mearly calling behind...why would he expect us to bet out on that river given how dicey it could be to bet without the nuts. The more I think about it the more I can see him having something like AQ/AJ, perhaps spades, seeing the weak bet on the river followed by me just calling rather than raising and sensing weakness in us both making the shove to take it down since if I had a strong hand I'd have raised the co bet and if the co had a strong hand they'd have bet a lot more than 10% of the pot.

I don't think I'm good here enough of the time to make that call, but going over it now with that analysis I think I was actually good here to call once CO folded.
