Default A little more interesting hand

Although, maybe I should have folded pre, or shipped it pre.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button ($0.94)
    Hero (SB) ($5.07)
    BB ($1.95)
    UTG ($0.20)
    MP1 ($1.49)
    MP2 ($1.56)
    CO ($1.39)

Preflop: Hero is SB with ,
2 folds, MP2 calls $0.02, 1 fold, Button bets $0.06, Hero raises to $0.18, BB raises to $0.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.32

    Flop: ($1.08) , , (2 players)
    Hero checks, BB checks

    Turn: ($1.08) (2 players)
    Hero?

Btn was trying to steal, I think. That is why the 3-bet, BB was new at the table and I had never seen him before.

I don't like to play a 4bet hand oop with TT, so I never call this especially if I know nothing about the villain... Instead I would go all-in here.

Since this is 2NL it's not out of line to put villain in a 4bet range of JJ+, AK from BB especially when the aggressors are the BTN and the SB...

That is 40 combos, 3% of hands in other words... If 5bet pushed I assume villain will call no wider then QQ+, so, we fold 22 hands and get called by 18 hands... That means we have 55% fold equity... And against QQ+ we have ~20% equity...

The pot is now .76 and if we push we put 1.77 more (effective stacks are 1.95).
    if he folds, we get (0.76 + 1.77) * 0.55 = ~1.39
    if he calls (1.45), we get (0.76 + 1.77 + 1.45) * 0.20 = ~0.80
    In total we get 1.39 + 0.80 = 2.19
We put 1.77 and get 2.19.

That's +EV so I push here... If the effective stacks were deeper then I would absolutely fold this...

Please criticize my range assumption... And also if I miss-calculate anything.

    Edit:
And also pre-flop raise, 3bet and 4bet sizes are awkward... İf those bets were regular sized the whole story would have been different...

you really need to start posting reads on opponents, but seeing as how dis is da 2enelllllz, PF is really really bad. if villain is stealing wide and calling 3b's wide, then you can def 3b for value and fold to any 4b. i usually flat here, unless i have history of 3b'ing villain lite in ATS spots.

but def fold to the 4b. i could care less about how you play the rest of the hand after that, tbh

3betting a btn raise from a shorty is fine, and id be happy to get it in.

once bb 4bets the hand is over though. ppl dont have weak hands in their 4b range at this level and sb doesnt have enough behind to mine it up.

fwiw, i don't disagree with a single thing written here. i think both flatting and 3b'ing are fine and without reads who's to say which is better.

3bing is far superior at da 2NL with TT
