Default 10NL : Trips gets ugly

    Villian Stats : (VP$IP/PFR/AF 3-bet%)

    16/16/6 6% over 63 hands.

    My Thoughts And Questions

Whether i flat JJ here or 3bet normally depends for me on his fold to 3bet number, but as its still early days i can go either way.

Flop is standard. Scoop up the cbet bluffs, and protect my hand on the drawy board. When he flats i am thinking most probably a pair/straight draw combo sort of hand. like T8/J8 etc. Sometimes he will also flat here i gues with a Tp hand, and then there are the 3 combos of flopped straights which he would slow play probably a lot of the time.

Ugly turn letting all the 8x and Qx straight draws getting there. Then villian donks a sizeable bet and this screams protection for me. Putting the double flush draw out there now means the straight he flopped and flatted my flop 2bet seems weaker. Any straights he made on turn he will now also be nervous about. I would think flopped two pairs would prob have 3bet me on flop. The hand,s that isnt a made straight now, i can see him flatting flop and then protecting on turn is J7/T7/97.

If i decide that i am behind i need 3 to 1 to call to full up if i have it correct? 10 cards = +- 25% ? I am not getting 3 to 1 so i cant call unless i can put in some scenarios where i am ahead here or where i can flat flop and check the river down. Of course there are some implied odds on his made straight when i fill up on river.

So fold turn or flat and see a river ?

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with J J
2 folds, SB raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.20

SB bets $0.45, Hero raises to $1.57, SB calls $1.12

    SB bets $2.80, Hero?

This is a pretty straight-forward implied odds situation. I could do a how-to post on this, but it would be a really short post because the process is so simple.

Edit: Actually I did do a post about it here http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...ws-t87747.html, so go read it and come back with your own analysis. I've removed my analysis until you do this.
