Default PLEASE NEED TIPS AND ADVICE ON BANKROLL MGT!!!!

Someone, Anyone. I consider my self a good poker player I final tabled a 5k 2.20 buyin w/ little over 5000ppl in there took in $75 and began to play 20sng then lost it all. Actually this is not the first time this happens I've read books on this subject and the majority of the solution to these problems are use %10 of your roll. But when you read poker pros books its usually "ALL OR NOTHING" lol. What you guys think. Grind from the bottom or go on a suicide mission

If you think that the word "suicide" is generally a nice word in the english language, then go for it....
If you think its bad, then its also wrong when applied to poker.
Not trying to be an ass or anything but taking $100 and playing 5 $20 DON's should seem obvious to be a bad choice...

No one here will give you the advice to go for broke unless you guarantee to play at their table....

The pros who go 'all or nothing' and fail don't tend to be around to write books.

think of br management this way: let's say you are allotted 20 dollars in your entire life to gamble as you see fit and once you lose those twenty dollars you can never make another bet in your life. you are given two options--either you can make bets that risk exactly 1/20th of the money you have 100% of the times that you bet, or 100% of the times that you bet you're playing double or nothing.

well, it stands to logic that you are essentially guaranteed to go busto in the double or nothing instance NO MATTER HOW MUCH OF AN EDGE YOU GET. you could be a 90% favorite in every single bet you make and it's still dumb to double or nothing your whole career....

so complete exaggeration of all the premises, but i think you get the point.

I would say 2% of your bankroll would be just about right.
Its not only the luck that comes and goes, the same goes for your daily form and your level of tilt.

Easy. Take the whole lot, buy in short at a 400NL cash table, and pwn those f***in' fairy-ass donks.
