Default This may or may not be an interesting spot.

Villain is 52/12/1.5 over 76 hands (make what you will of the sample size) and I haven't got any notes on him.

    PKR No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) - PKR Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($189.15)
    UTG ($157.05)
    MP ($100.10)
    Hero (Button) ($161.10)
    SB ($98)

Preflop: Hero is Button with ,
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, Hero bets $4.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $4.50

    Flop: ($10.50) , , (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $8, UTG calls $8

    Turn: ($26.50) (2 players)
    UTG checks, Hero checks

    River: ($26.50) (2 players)
    UTG bets $26.50, Hero?

Do we think it's conceivable to call here?

Bet/fold turn please, as played mehh, he has alot of missed straight draws but I probs just fold till I get a better read, calling isn't terrible though, his river bet is fairly suspect as he only really bets 8x or other monsters this way.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

You have like the best possible bluffcatcher and his range for potting this river is probably very polarized so I think a call is very conceivable. Reads would help obviously.

i don't like b/f'ing the turn here. if we have a weaker hand (whiffed overs, a weak 8/9, underpairs) then yeah b/f the turn 100%. When we have his flop calling range so crushed, check back and let him draw to ~5 outs maybe. unless he's a calling station thats going to call 3 barrels w/ an 8/9/underpair, its just not good betting the turn.

I actually love Bet/folding the turn here, and I would bet $17

All his draws come along, pairs, and he rarely has a king. I think any turn raise in this spot from someone who is likely a passive player (considering how often he flats PF, I can't see this player as someone who knows to bluff K scare cards). Most 50 vpip players are passive and like to call turns only to fold to big river bets when they didn't hit

I don't honestly know what to do on river. On stars id snap fold because the bet pot button doesn't exist and pot river bets in THIS spot are 90% folds as villain has to pick the sizing and usually has a great hand. Looks like your site has a BP button, so I think you have to take on the reads here. Smaller bet id snap on stars, but with BP I dunno what to do, are people bluffing in this spot with BP a lot?

I dislike checking the turn as we lose value from all his 9s that he doesn't fold, he also doesn't fold his pair and straight draw type hands plus he very rarely has us beat. If he does he'll let us know by raising turn thus b/f. Btw if I bet turn it's with the full intention of v betting a safe river.

Bottom line is we lose a ton of value and let him draw for free when his range is far weaker than ours.

gotta so so bet this turn vs a guy who plays 52% of hands. straight up value and id vb good rivers too.

    This.

Not that this guy is a thinking player but if he was one its even more important to bet the turn.

i guess i wasnt paying attention to the 52 vpip. i agree that we can get value from worse hands on the turn vs a loose/passive.

I called the river bet because people betting full pot is really weak in my experience. He flipped A-high.

If his VPIP is say 20, do we check behind on turn?
