    Great draft for my Packers, filled needs at the right time without reaching. Loved the Raji pick, his tape footage, especially from the Senior Bowl practices, is just sick. Really happy with the Clay Matthews pick, he reminds me of Bill Romanowski. I can see him having a beer with Kevin Greene, Nick Barnett and AJ Hawk talking about Pro Wrestling, then starting a bar fight roadhouse style. Great value 2nd day on the O-line with Lang and Meredith, would have liked to see a 6th or 7th round punter though.
    Did you actually watch the tape footage of Raji at the senior bowl? (I haven't)

    If you did, what did you think of the Raji vs Alex Mack battles?
    Yes, the NFL Network showed clips from a 1 on 1 rush drill in practice, I don't remember which specific players were trying to block him. Granted it was just a practice and they were highlighting good plays, but Raji was just driving people up off the ground Reggie White style. The commentary was that in practice he was unblockable all week. I didn't see anything on Mack that I remembered from this past weekend, but my recollection was that he also did very well and left the Senior Bowl as the best center prospect.

    Edit: I found this news report on the Raji vs. Mack Battles;

    http://www.footballsfuture.com/2009/...sdaynorth.html
    From the article, "...The big losers on the day were Alex Mack and Xavier Fulton. Fulton allowed defenders to get into his chest and drive him straight back. Mack really struggled with B.J. Raji the entire day. Raji was playing motivated and it was apparent that Mack couldn’t handle his power and leverage. This just reaffirmed my beliefs that Mack is a pure zone-blocking center. Phil Loadholt once again struggled with resetting his feet after the initial move. He’ll get a chance at right tackle, but if he doesn’t improve in handling the second move, it won’t be long until he’s out of the league. Still, once he gets his hands on you, the play’s over.

    Wednesday’s practice was yet another day dominated by BC defensive tackle B.J. Raji. He’s moving his way into the early teens and possibly even the top ten. Raji blew up numerous plays in the backfield and manhandled interior linemen, particularly Alex Mack, in the one-on-one drills. When his motor is rolling, it’s nearly impossible to lock him out for extended periods."

    The reason I ask is it seems like there are 2 polar and dissenting opinions. Of course I'm not an nfl scout and I have no idea what the truth is other than what's written.

    Everyone is talking about Boston College's B.J. Raji, and for good reason. Raji measured 6 ½ feet today and weighed 334 pounds. He's built like an oak stump, but he has excellent quickness for a guy that size. He typically had his way with offensive linemen today. The only guy who was able to handle Raji was Cal center Alex Mack, who was easily the best offensive linemen on the North squad and who was considerably better than Oregon's Max Unger, whom many publications have rated higher than Mack. Mack got the better of Raji during team drills, at one point standing him up and driving him backward.
    So Browns fans who don't like the pick say the Raji handled Mack and fans that do like the pick say that Mack handled Raji. Of course none of them have a clue what they are talking about other than their personal biases on the pick, which is why it's funny.

    FWIW from the game footage and write ups I saw of Mack leading up to the draft he was thought to be the best center prospect of the last few years and I personally thought it was a good pick.

    So. The Broncos picked up Darrius Walker RB from Houston.

    I was pretty sure they were set before... but now.. oooh now! I'll bet D.Walker has all sorts of shit to show Arrington, and Moreno, and Jordan, and Hillis, and Torain, and Buckhalter...
    The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes
