Was I too nitty here?. My reasoning was based on a hand from the other night which was almost an identical flop , which had been raised to a $2.10 pot 3 way preflop ,I lead $2 and was minraised , I shoved and he called with KK . Which has led me to thinking about the way I played that hand over the last couple of days.
Basically , I thought that hands likely to call a 3 bet are QQ,KK AA and AK. my AA makes AA unlikely for villain and act as blockers for AK. I'm losing to QQ and KK and would beat JJ if he had it. I was wary as soon as the QK came on the flop and was thinking to check call it down if I could cheaply. His $0.50 on the flop made me wonder whether he had JJ or QQand i called hoping to see an A on the turn. His $2 bet decided it for me.
Is my logic correct here.?
Should i have raised his flop bet to $1.50 and folded to a reraise?
was the preflop 3bet too small?
