Is this the correct play? Or should I be calling here to try and induce another bet?

I think it depends what you put him on? What do you think his possible range was? Did you have any reads on him?
    OP: Beginner to Master

If I bet as a bluff, I should be thinking "am I getting better hands to fold? Is it likely that he will fold x% of the time to a y sized bet to make it +EV?". If I bet for value, I should be thinking "am I getting worst hands to call? Am I ahead of enough of his range that this is a good value bet?".

I made the raise, I was just wondering if that was standard.

Yeah, gotchya. He folded, so I was kinda of mad that I may have lost some equity, but he may just have been making a C-Bet.

Unless the Villain's got a set or an unlikely overpair, you're way ahead. Even if he has the set, you've still got lots of outs. And if it's the best case scenario where he's on a flush draw, life is real good right now.

Do you have any reads on the Villain? Unless I had a read that said I know for sure he's got a set, I'm pushing if he comes back over the top. It looks like a standard C-bet to me, but again, it all depends on what you know about him.

I would prefer a larger raise. I think any raise probably was going to knock him off here so if he's calling get more money in and if he reraises perfect, ship it. I know we're trying to get worse hands to call but if he's a tight player and he doesn't hit anything the hand is over anyway.
