    But if he's unknown then just flat the river after you bet SMALLER but bet the turn. A ten is bad vs. most.

    You can't really answer this question without reads. Specifically, you need to figure out whether hands that your trips-with-top-kicker can beat are in his range or not.

    first of all, he obviously has 89, but in the spirit of not creating a one hand range:

    everyone who says shove river sucks at using pokerstove and/or math. Let's look at his river raising range (I'll even take out AK and TT)

    Hand 0: 75.758% 75.76% 00.00% 25 0.00 { 77-66, KTs+, 98s, KTo+, 98o }
    Hand 1: 24.242% 24.24% 00.00% 8 0.00 { AsKd }

    What do these numbers mean? As you can see this is a close call or fold, raising is certainly the incorrect play as we obviously are about a 3:1 dog to his calling range.


    Also, next time use all 3 streets to get value, don't try to squeeze it into 2.
