Honestly, villain has a tight EP raise range so it might not be the best play but I hate set mining with JJ. I guarantee there will be many calls behind and that clearly turns JJ into a set it or forget it hand. JJ will also lose a lot on a T or less than high flop multiway. I like the 3 bet for isolation and then playing flop appropriately.
I am with Bigred here as another benefit to 3betting is that you can potentially narrow his range as he would most likely 4bet/push with KK and def would with AA.
