    Default Few more hands

Hi all. Here a few more hands I was hoping to get some comments on. Since the last post I have dropped another 6 buy ins. So thats 12 in total another nasty down swing. Some of it is due to poor play id say 30% but its hard to say here are some of my biggest losers over the past couple of days. I left out the races with short stacks. Didnt have any races for stacks. Any comments are appreciated.

Hand 1 - Both villians were donks and I knew at least one would call with either a fd or AJ KJ QJ. Turns out they both called DOH. One with the nut flush one with 2nd nut flush. I had 67% equity guess who on the hand?

Hand 1: I like a smaller raise to try to get a draw to make a mistake and call, but if your reads are correct this might be fine too.

Hand 2: If you're going to raise the turn then you need to raise it more than a minraise. For example, a flush draw has great odds to call now.

Hand 3: Possibly fold river, idk.

    Hand 4: Super standard.

Hand 5: It's possible that you can fold this one preflop if your read is correct that he's that tight.

Hand 6: I stack off here always.

Hand 7: I don't suggest limp/raising big pairs in EP, but I've made that speach a few times in other threads recently. As played, your 3-bet should be smaller in size.

    that's a lot of hands!

hand 1) why the push? Raise to $9.
    hand 2) c-bet
hand 3) man, limped pots are arse. Flop is fine. Turn is fine. River fold, you beat nothing.
hand 4) how the hell do you make this read?!? his range is far wider than aces. AsKx is likely, so is a flush, so is JJ/88. Don't fold top set here
hand 5) Are you calling for set odds only? 3-bet at these stakes is normally AA/KK/QQ/AK.Maybe fold flop, definitely fold to the flop 3-bet.
hand 6) meh, dunno. I struggle folding KK pre 100bb deep. Here it's maybe ok, but don't make a habit of it - if QQ/AK/KK/AA is his range then it's an easy call. I often call here and re-evaluate on flop...
Hand 7) I don't like open limping KK. And why are you playing 60bb deep?
Hand 8) Pre-flop good. Flop raise more. Turn, sticky with aces sure - but you're making life hard for yourself by not re-raising. He had KQ/KJ here a lot.

hand 1: I open the flop with a pot sized bet atleast, maybe even overbet the pot. shove seems fine to me based on your read.

hand 2: raise 1.25 pre, c-bet the flop, dont min raise the turn. i atleast make it 4.00 here. Call on the river is ok but raise wouldnt be bad either i think.

    hand3: fold turn

hand 4: sadly i think you have to fold this flop i dunno though thats a weird read and a tough situation.

hand 5: you call pre like u put him on QQ+, and looking to hit a set, but u miss, and u still call his shove here when it seems like he has a stronger overpair. I think i fold pre especially taking his stats into mind. i think as played u gotta let this go after that flop which seems to confirm he has a stronger overpair.

hand6: no way im lettin this go preflop i dont care how tight he is, im gettin it all in.

hand 7: seems fine if u knew u were gonna get raised but im not a fan of limping monster hands utg, in most cases u tend to get 2/3rds the table limping after u when u limp utg at these stakes, then your KK is trash.

    hand 8: raise the turn

hand 9: set over set sux.
    I post nonconstructive piss

in hand 3, if we're not folding to the turn bet, shouldn't we just push because of his tiny stack?
  7. #7
Daven - Thanks for the input

    1. If I raise to 9 and get a call I only have a 1/2 pot sized bet left. I will be pot committed regardless so why not push all in for the fold equity. I also knew I would get at least one caller between the two donks.
    2. agree
    3. agree - the comment was actually for hand 8 which I thought I had posted not this hand. See hand 8 for another set crushed of 3 as well
    4. agree didnt and never will in this situation. He had a9s I am running like ass.
    5. Not sure I agree here. I think it is read specific. And I dont recall what the villian was running
    6. I am almost certain I was beat here.
    7. Lost a big hand (see above) right before and didnt reload fast enough
    8. agree thats why i folded.
