Extracting $ Flopping Quads

I checked behind on the flop here hoping someone with a low pair or an ace would bet out on the turn. It's not like this situation comes up very often but I'm thinking I should have bet more on the turn and then lighter on the river.

IMO it is hit or miss. I think it is best to bet the flop because if they did make a full house or have an A you will go three street of value. If they miss they will fold but it is likely you would have gained anything but checking flop betting turn.

i'd probably 2/3 the pot on the flop. PP's call and hopefully you can get some more value from them later. also if you bet out, someone might think you're trying to buy the pot since you're last to act

Betting the flop depends on Villains' ranges and how likely it is they have unpaired cards that will fold to a flop bet but stack off to a turn bet that pairs one of their cards. The trade-off is that PPs will fold on the turn if an overpair comes. You can think of some example ranges and do the calculations on your own. In general I tend to check flop and bet turn enough that a river shove will get called by someone with a good boat.

Yeah, the check behind on the flop in LP was me hoping for a good turn card that would pair and fill up one of my opponents. An ace probably would have been golden cuz the BB was a total fish. I won his stack about 20 hands later anyway though.
