Default Calling preflop raises before you

I'm not sure about this but want to get a handle on it because I think it might be a leak of mine.

Typical scenario, dealt a raiseable hand in late position (CO or button) like KQs or AJs. Folded around until about two positions before you to villain who raises to 4x the BB, which you were planning on doing anyway. Full ring 10 player limits say anywhere from 2-10NL.

Now my usual move is to check my read and if villain rarely raises then I usually fold but if they are read to be loose then I usually flat call to see a flop. Should I be 3 betting in this type of situation? And if so, what type of hands do you 3 bet in late position against a loose opponent raising before you?

I'm guessing this is full ring and not 6max?

Someone raising loose and u have position on like that is a dream come true atleast in 6max.

A lot depends on what limit your playing since it dramatically changes what you should be doing vs most players.

Read this and think of how the ranges would be preflop, then report back here with questions.

Call if you're ahead of his range
note that you're barely ahead with KQs against someone with a PFR of 20% according to pokerstove

so to anyone with a normal PFR I just dump some of the hands I would normally raise (see gap concept)
