Default I need a poker Tune up Please give some advice.

I don't use any software and really don't want to until I fully understand the true fundementals of the game. SO here is some of my questions and venting. Like I have said in the several of my past posts. I play at a hillbilly site called sportsbook so I have not been able to use things like poker tracker or any of that other type of software however i spent all day looking at my hand history from a sesion last night and I realize that now that I am the fish. And not the shark. LOL kind of fish eihter. so After looking at my session i realized out of 90 hands I volenterly put money in on 20 of them. Out of all the times I put money in the hand I only raised preflop twice. Basically I think i am calling and limping way to many times and becoming a calling station. This is making my stats to be a very week player. I am sure. What I dont understand is What seams to be a sign of a decent player. I am sure 28 percent of the flops is way to many. What always seams to happen to me is I get drawn out on. Even if Going all in I still get called. I am going to post some HH as soon as i get home from work tonight, I know I am not making any sense here, however Here is the straight forward questions.

    1. If I am playing at a table that has a percent of seen flops above 30 percent then the table is considered to be loose. Right or Wrong,

    2. With the info I have given about my self would you say that the reason I am getting drawn out on is becouse I play way too many hands.

    3. Roughly what should be a good percent of seen flops from this table.

    4. I know i am limping way to many hands so if I can't raise from middle or early position I should just let the hands go. Right or Wrong.

Sorry for the long post. I am just so DA mN tired of getting drawn out and I am convinced that I am doing something wrong. It has happened to me in all my live games and online games for the last three months. three months ago I thought I was a good player now I can't even figure out penny poker.

    First off welcome to FTR.

I am not a pro by any means so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I have been playing online now for 6 months, cash for 4 months and I'm holding my own though not showing big profits yet. Still playing micros.

Cash online is hugely different from basement games or little live tournaments... and vastly different than televised poker. Don't compare them, you'll get terribly frustrated.

30% of hands seems high, at least at this early stage in your game. I'd recommend you start with reading everything in the Beginner's digest here. Read it and apply it.

Once you get past those, let us know your thoughts. Also post hand histories here in the beginner forum and we'll try to assist.
