Exactly, my goal is to get a free card on the turn
A semi-bluff is when you make a play for the pot but dont mind getting called because you still have outs. This was not a semi bluff as villain CAN NOT fold. This was a pot building bet.
Maybe if you think of it as a Free Card Play that is also a semi-bluff...It's like in limit when you raise the flop (or CR) with a draw solely to see the river for one BB.
