    Default Hand Advice*

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    CO ($18.89)
    Button ($9.85)
    SB ($5.59)
    Hero ($10.27)
    UTG ($10.31)
    UTG+1 ($10.38)
    MP1 ($7.69)
    MP2 ($4.69)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, 9.
5 folds, Button raises to $0.1, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.05.

    >Ok. Calling here because We're both deep stacked, odds. etc. etc. This is fine right? I mean, with that possibly weak attempt to blind steal, or slow playing great hand so he gets callers. or maybe just a weaker hand betting accordingly, for whatever reason. I feel rather obligated to call such a puss bet with my suited 1 gapper.

    Flop: ($0.22) J, T, 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.2, Button calls $0.20.

    >This is really where my main question lies. What about this flop bet? I was kinda going for value out of some missed overs maybe, or a Pocket pair he's not yet ready to depart with. He's brand new to the table pretty much, and posted the dead blind,(which isn't entirely fishy, but it can be a tip off. Right?)

    Turn: ($0.62) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.55, Button raises to $3.2, Hero raises to $9.97, Button calls $6.35 (All-In).

    >Ok, so the only thing I'm really scared of here is a Q9, and I feel pretty strongly that he would have raised the flop bet with a flopped straight. And the only thing I can figure at this point, with the line he's taken is this. He bets weak with AA KK or QQ(passive) he calls the flop with same hand(passive) He see's the straight draw on the turn, and decides raise out any draws. Or, bets weak with a pocket pair, and hits on the turn. How's my thought process here? Am I missing some angle?

    River: ($20.14) 7 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: $19.72

Dude... you got all the money in by the Turn where you'd made the straight. Yeah, I spose he could have Q9... but his range has way more than that, all of which you beat until the river drops -- but all the monies in good by then anyway. NH!

Thanks alot. Guess what he had though, GET THIS! A10o. So my jack had him beat, Obviously somebody who isn't a big fan of money. But I still wanted to make sure I made the right decisions, you know not be "results oriented." Mainly the flop bet.

My gut feeling tells me I'm splitting in these spots. In reality I'm not even surprised if they turn over 57 anymore.

Hopefully you're not asking if you can fold in this spot!

Lol, oh no no. Like I said, (and I'll shut up about it) It's the flop bet, after reviewing, I wondered "what hands am I getting to lay down here and what hands are calling? Should I be half building the pot for the draw half value betting? My C-bet rate was probably pretty high, so I thought he might call with a lot of lesser hands however. like I said, Overcards, underpairs/ 2nd pair(in fact the truth) and straight draws.

mech... you flopped top pair + the open ended. I figure you got license to try and build the pot a bit with 13 pretty good outs to two pair+.
