Here is an example of Table Image...

I was raising quite often, trying to bully people around a bit, and showed a bluff once. Which got me all the action i could handle.
Apparantly this guy took it personal and was sick of me because i pushed him off a couple of pots.

Every time something like this happens, it makes me realize how important table selection is.

What other hands are you raising 4bb with after 2 limpers? You need to raise more to thin the field. If he hadn't raised you would have been taking AA vs 3 other players OOP which sucks.

Shorties pull this all the time.

Ok thanks, the only problem with that is, everytime i raised more than that, everyone folded.
The table was folding to all large bets before the flop.
I wanted to make sure i had at least one caller.
I had AA before this, and re-raised more, and everyone including the initial raiser folded.

Sometimes that happens. If you get multiple callers you're going to loose to "crap hands", just be aware. "typical" raise would be 4bb + 1 per limper. I can't believe people are calling 40c and folding to 60c. If people always fold you can open your raising range some. At 10NL they won't notice and will keep waiting for their own big hands to stack you. In the meantime you're grinding a profit through "stealing".

Not a good line of thinking. You want them to make mistakes. You can lower your raise to the point that they always call, and they're probably not making a mistake in the process.

In this hand you raised, not re-raised. Big difference. Still if someone raises to 0.40 and you 3bet to 1.20 and they fold you have to realize that happens.

AA isn't necessarily a stack winning hand. It starts to loose value post-flop, quite quickly if it's not HU. Be happy winning small pots instead of loosing big ones.

Focus less on what you're doing and more on what your opponent's are doing.

Into the middle limits I think table image doesn't matter so much as long as you have a pretty good idea what people think of you for whatever reason.

Hard to speculate but some players like to leave the table with a bang. Toss in their last two dollars.

Also, you have to remember that a lot of players aren't playing to learn, grow, and make money. To some it's just about gambling and two bucks is just that, two bucks.

Good point Brass, if they enjoy themselves they are meeting their goals.

I have a cousin that plays for fun. He plays way over his roll (usually only like $50) and if he loses, he says oh well and puts another $50 on.
Of course if he wins a few hundred, which he has a few times, he withdraws it and puts another $50 on and starts over.

So he wins no matter what. Which (although i'm happy for him) is super frustrating to me because i am grinding at the micro stakes to "earn" a bankroll and move up slowly by winning small amounts consistently without risking everything in one or two sessions.
