HH Bias

A few questions for those of you that post and comment on Hand Histories.

1) Of the HHs you post, what % of them are losers?
2) When reading a HH, how often (if ever) do you assume that it's a losing hand?
3) Do you think that beginners or new posters are more likely to post losing hands than winning ones? If so, how does this effect your judgement of his/her decisions, particularly when the EV is marginal?

This of course pertains to HHs in which the results are in white or omitted. I know that some of you are going to say that one shouldn't be results oriented, and that it doesn't affect your judgment when reviewing a HH, but I still wonder how one maintains objectivity.

It used to be that there was a "since you posted it you must have lost the hand" assumption, but that's not true anymore, at least not from the regulars. I don't assume a hand is either a loser or a winner (unless the OP gives it away of course).

Yes, beginners usually post losing hands, to see if there's a way they could have gotten away from it.

i probably post more winning hands that i do losing. I usually know where i screwed up a hand and lost it whereas hands ive won i want to know how i can play it better, i.e. extract more value.

one of the bets things that happened was somebody posted themselves as villain which makes a difference to how you perceive a hand especially in shnl forum.
Normally i look at the hand in a volume and try not to make an assumption, we should be gauging ranges of hands anyway.

We always assume that we played losing hands worse the winning hands, and a lot of the time it's the exact opposite.

I sometimes post big winning hands that I may have played badly. I don't want to let the results reinforce bad play, and having my decisions slammed by the forum balances things out for me!!!
