    Default AQ correct fold?

Here's a hand that I'm questioning because the flop shouldn't have hit too hard...I don't think. I was thinking either AK or a big pair/mid pair. Or he loosely called on the flop with 55, 66, or 99. He's on the button and I don't have any reads on him yet...the mini re-raise also made me a little skeptical.... good fold or too safe?

    Im_new bets t230, Button raises to t460, Im_new folds.

cool. I've been scared to post Q's in there because most of the stuff I'll ask will probable be pretty "beginner." But I guess I'll start posting there.

    Thanks!

I'm the mod of the SNG forum and I will make sure that nobody criticises you for posting questions that are too beginner!

On your hand, I c-bet a bit less. A 160-180 bet folds every hand that a 230 bet does and saves you 50 chips if you have to fold (as in your case).

everyone's still learning. And "beginner", seemingly trivial questions often provoke a lot of debate. Nobody loses, your posts that I've read have been worthwhile. Post away
