Default TPTK against PFR in the CO/BTN

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($56.80)
    BB ($32.05)
    UTG ($71)
    UTG+1 ($8.35)
    MP1 ($26.10)
    MP2 ($28.50)
    MP3 ($38.85)
    CO ($62.15)
    Button ($49.25)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, Q.
    2 folds, MP1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, Button raises to $2.5, Hero calls $2.25, 1 fold, MP1 calls $2.

    Flop: ($8) Q, 3, 8 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, Button bets $5.5, Hero ?

Is it best to just call here and try to induce another bluff on the turn? Any card but a K i'm figuring is good.
I figure the board is pretty dry...

What if i had position, he raised pre-flop, i call and he bets out on the same flop when i have the same hole cards?

    You can lead the flop

I'd rather 3bet PF or I guess make a nitty fold, do you have any reads on his BTN opening range?

He'd only been there like two orbits and the other times he was in CO/BTN he had raises infront of him so no not really. He was fairly tight and had a PFR of around 10%.

I tend to find leading the flop just gives away info on your hand as i seemingly only lead if i have hit the flop. In this instance i check raised, but i was just wondering if you agree it kinda turns up your hand to lead out?

I did think about 3 betting PF, but this was one of the occasions i chose to call OOP instead of raise :P

What would happen if i had position on him and he lead out? Is it best to raise there, or call to keep the pot small and see if he fires again?

calling OOP is much worse than calling in position. It's tough enough to play OOP, but now you have no idea what his hand range is.

Raise to $17 and find out where you're at as played.

c/r'ing this is just the wrong line.
    Bet the flop.

As played raise to $15-17, you must find out if he has you beat, cheaper to do it now than on the river.

In the future never check/raise with TPTK. If you feel it turns your hand face up, then your not varying your play enough. Lead out with 2/3 psb when not holding TPTK. Keep in mind most flops miss most people.

Ayo, what about c/c flop bet 1/2 pot on turn? We're in a disgusting flop, it's difficult working out a line that loses us the least when we're behind, which is why I really hate c/r here.

I also hate a checkraise here; bet $6 on the flop and 3/4 on any turn. If he raises the flop you have a serious decision.
    I don't mind a fold PF either.

I don't think betting this flop turns your hand face up. When in your spot, I lead for 3/4 pot with AQ, a set, and often a midpair to see if it's still good.

dont c/r here. Call the flop then 3/4 the turn and from that make a decision for the river.

If we lead this flop what do we do when we're raised? Fold?

how many people raise AQ in this position when led into from an oop player?
Not a lot, so you only get raised by a better hand.
