Check-bet question

I sometimes play Texas Hold'em with some friends. We are no pros.
First of all, the Dealer also plays...
But we always end up wondering what to do in the following scenario.

Assume I'm the dealer.
After the flop, in the second betting round, everyone Checks, except me.
So when it's my turn, I Bet. Everyone else Calls.

When it's my turn again, am I allowed to Bet again to raise the stakes? Or not?

No, if no one has raised you can't bet further and the next card is dealt.

Only if you bet, and are raised by another player can you then reraise.
