Default Who wins in this situation?? Online "Rules" VS Liv

Maybe you can help me with something:

Here's the situation in real life:
    I have: Ace + Queen
My friend has: Ace + Four

    Flop/turn/river = Ace, 4 , 2/ 4 /Ace

So our both best hands are Full Houses (3 Aces + 2 Fours)

***BUT*** my friend is saying because he's holding more cards that make up the full house IN HIS HAND, he's the winner. He said that's how they play it online on fulltiltpoker.com. Apparently they wouldn't have drawn the last card online - because there's no way I could have won - at least online.

I disagree - I think it should be a SPLIT POT because BOTH of us hold the same best hand.

    Any thoughts?

Its a split, your friend is either a lying douchebag, or a moron. Either way, thats not how they do it on full tilt either.
<Staxalax> Honestly, #flopturnriver is the one thing that has improved my game the most.

I'm not the most experienced player... and there were two of these guys telling me that's how it's played on full tilt...

... but I gave up the chips on the condition that if I can prove him wrong, I get my money back.

get on Full Tilts website (or any other poker room) and find the area in the rules where it states this and take it to the the bank yo!

Well, hopefully he's actually a friend and not a semi-acquaintance. I hope you get it back, you clearly should.

Let's make this as unamibiguous as possible:

YOU WON HALF OF THE POT FAIRLY.

According to holde'm rules, half of the pot is yours. Your friend's "online" argument is completely wrong. He's either ignorant of the rules or he tried to scam you. How you want to handle the situation is up to you. If it were me, I'd ask for half my money back if the pot was any big.

sorry dude, that game ended 2 days ago! But I wouldn't mind it if everyone who agrees with me to come to my house to smack my friend upside the head.

Best 5 card hand wins. You both have the same 5 card hand so it's a chop.

    3 Pair and super-full-houses don't count.

    Seems pretty unanimous to me.

Has ANYONE here has experienced a loss online the way I "lost"?

I play at Full Tilt exclusively and that's not the way it works
