What a brutal, brutal day of cards.

2300 hands, -$245. Nothing went right today. I only got stack-stacked (i only lost a full stack) on one hand and everything else was just tons and tons of luckbox halfstacks getting insanely good turns and rivers.

I should consider myself very fortunate to be down only 250. I was down twice that at one point.

Brutal day, I guess we all get them. The kind of day where flopping top set is a death sentence. Blech. Glad its over, but its my first losing day in quite a few days.

I did pull an all-nighter for it, though. I dont like going to sleep negative if i can help it. Not 24 hours, but it IS almost 7 am now.

Anyway, I've gotta drive over to my sister's house about two hours away and I need to get my oil changed before I do that. So my plan right now is go get some pancakes from mcdonalds (fuck yeah!) and then get an oil change. Then come home, clean out my car a little bit and get some six hours of sleep before driving out there -- and hopefully if it all works out like I plan, I wont hit rush hour neither here in orlando nor in tampa.

I'll be bringing the laptop of course so i might get a little bit of play in. My parents are still pretty iffy on the poker thing so I certainly dont want to be playing nonstop or they'll pull the "youre addicted" crap again. Yawn.

I want to kill someone. Just unbelievable how much I fucking suck. I work so hard at it, and I lose more money per hour than most people in america make it. I dont know what I have to do. I'm so lost. I just want to vomit in a corner and never play another hand again.

I want to be good at this SO FUCKING BADLY. But I seem to just be incapable. I dont know why. Its frustrating, its annoying, its frustrating. Its really fucking frustrating. Ive watched hours upon hours of videos, reviewed hand after hand, read more words than most people read in a year...

And i just keep losing. What is it?

Euph's done. Last time I saw him he was railing the 300/600 game on FullTilt begging for $5. Sad really.

Took a pretty long fucking break. Played very little for almost two weeks. Hurt the BR but helped the game. I've since moved up to 100NL and done pretty well for myself at it.

Bankroll currently at 2558 + about $540 in bonus to clear and whatever rakeback I'm owed doing so.

Doing alright, I guess. I started with $150ish back in january and its taken me 7 months to get to 100NL. But then again, I live off the bankroll so I'm taking out a good chunk of cash every month. So maybe it is more of a feat than it appears.

I'll say this: NLHE is a whole lot more fun when youre a winner.

I'm off the 6m bandwagon for a while. Renton got me to play some FR and I'm enjoying the whole "take the lower winrate but play twice as many hands / hour" its much more my style. Simpler game. More like the LHE I love.

Poker is overwhelmingly a boring enterprise after a couple hundred thousand hands.

I'm only making about $7/hour at the 50NL tables now, though. I was more than double that at 6m. I really havent decided if I like FR *that* much more. Its the same hourly winrate i got back when I was playing .50/1 LHE.

But the .5/1 games are probably no different than the .25/.50 games. So I can conceivably double my houlry rate to about $14/hour when I move up. Plus RB. And I'm pretty OK with that.
