Data mining

I've searched FTR, 2p2 and google and I haven't found a lot of info in dataming. Can someone that has experience with datamining please give some info about it.

Can you data mine at pokerroom skins?

What software do you need to data mine? Is IdleMiner the only program out there? How useful is datamining?

I use spade eye. You leave it running and it just monitors tables so you have a large number of hands to note how your opponents play.
In 400nl+ but especially 1knl+ games it helps because you can have a good idea of how your opponents play without having to figure it out.

Spade eye doesnt work with pokerroom, and i dont think idleminer does either (but i may be wrong)
I have pacific/bodog/UB handgrabbers too for my database but they are seperate programs for when i sue those sites.

I think when you move up to 400nl then mining is worth it otherwise at 200nl it shouldnt be as a decent tagg can still beat these games.

Edit: i dont know of a sotware that mines pokerroom but othrs may know better!

Is it worth switching from TowerGaming (a pokerroom skin) to PartyPoker, just so that I can datamine Party?

TowerGaming has the best bonuses that I've seen on the net and there are a lot of fish. Party's bonuses are much worse than TG's (they don't even compare). I've heard Party is also very fishy (probably even fishier than TG).

if you nearly have enough for 400nl id split between both (via neteller if possible) as these are the two sites i wanna play 400nl 600nl 1knl at if at all possible over the next few months.
