    Default Just a BR question

Ok guys here goes, my first topic.
I have been playing poker for a while now, and am one of the best of the people I have played with live. I almost always cash, very consistent. Now, I finally started trying to play serious, so I started with 50$ for live, and 100$ for online (I'm not nearly as good online). Since then I have played a few games and my live BR is up to 105$. I just got invited to a 20$ game, and I am not sure if I should play out of my br. I know that they aren't nearly as good as myself, however playing in your BR is very important, as variance is a part of the game. So, in short what do you guys think, should I play or wait. If there isn't enough info, just tell me what you need to know.

No matter what you are playing (cash/sit'n go/MTT), you can't have 40% of your roll on the line in one game.

But, i would like to have no more than 5% of my roll at one table in a cash game. I don't know much about sit'n go's and MTT's, but i would guess you would want at least 20+ buy ins for both.

    It's only about 19%.

OP, the fact is you can't play a $20 tournament with a $105 bankroll. However, it seems to me like you don't really have a bankroll, persay. If you do, and this game is available to you with that you can easily beat, I recommend you allow yourself a little more leeway with your beginning bankroll.

20 buy ins is pretty nonnegotiable for cash games, prob more for tourneys
