    Default Sign of a fish?

I play 10NL and I've noticed that people who come in the table with less than the max buy-in, let's say something like $5 are usually quite bad and inexperienced player. Do you think this is true?

ya usually they are donators, but sometimes it's somone that's solid but just new to the level or something

At anything under $50NL. They are fish, What are they going to do scare you by going all in for $5 post flop. Short stacking at $10NL is useless. It's not like they are trying to learn a new level. Nothing changes till $50NL and even that is minimal. Mostly just table selection.

I think this applies more often then not.

I think that is pretty much true, I know that one of the things I look for on a table is the size of the stacks, the fewer above the max buy in the better and I like to see a lot a of players around 1/2 or less the more luck I seem to have at the table. By the way I am still a fish, just learning to be tight aggressive and i like to buy in for just over 1/2 the buyin, as it allows me to be aggressive and cuts my risk a little.

    No hindsight for the blind.
Definitely true. I don't think I've ever spotted someone shortstacked playing good. At higher levels I suspect this not to be true anymore.

you want to see people with or above the full buy in. this allows you to double through with good hands. If you get a good hand and get it AI, you dont want a bunch of short stacks because you wont double up.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Yeah the other day someone sat down at 20NL with 2$ (yeah... 10 BB..) andn 2 hands later went all in for like $1.5 before the flop. Everyone folded except me. I called him with like KTo and he showed fuck all (was like 85o or some other shit). Oh well, easy $1.5 for me lol

I personally like looking for tables with 80-150BB stacks so I can play poker and play a full LAGG game, rather than waiting for hands. 20NL bigstacks tend to be nits anyway.
