don't think about the specific hand QTs

Think about what type of hand it is, what kinds of flops you might expect to hit, how you might play in different situations... as in, how are you going to make money with the hand, and how much? How will you lose money and how much?

Therefore, who do you want to play a hand like QTs against? In what position? For how much? Do you want to raise with it or cold call a raise? Are you trying to hit 2 pair? TPNK? Flush draw? How will u play your hand generally in those situations?

Don't think I have QTs therefore I do X from EP, Y from LP and Z from blinds. Think "I have a middling suited connector hand. I'm dominated by AQ, KQ, TT+ AT... I might win a small pot or lose a big one if I hit a top pair. I need 2 pairs or trips really... and even then I might be in trouble. My best hand is probably to hit a straight or a combination of a straight or flush draw. Otherwise I'm going to have to win by making my opponent lay down his hand." Then you'll know when to play QTs and when it might be profitable
