running bad

    Default running bad

August is the first month in over a year where I have lost money ($$-154). Ive enjoyed considerable success at the 1-2 and 2-4 tables for a couple of years, and while losing a couple of hundred bucks is no big deal, not making any money IS a big deal when you have bills to pay. I actually had to cut my roll down to 5k to pay rent, which means that I can no longer play nl 2-4.

Question: In what ways do you guys check your play? What I mean is, how do you personally make sure that the reason that your on a downswing is because of a bad run of cards/situations rather than poor play?

Should i tighten up from my usual SLAAG game?

Should i reduce the number of tables I play?

Keep grinding and dont worry about it?

As some of you understand im under a little stress, I cant really have another losing month. Any help would be appreciated.
Me? I always tell the truth.

    Even when I lie.

keep grinding and dont worry about it! you know you are beating the game so just play within roll and you never have to worry.

How often do I get it all-in as a favourite?
    What mistakes do I make?
How are my opponents playing against me and are they doing any mistakes against me?
Am I adjusting enough to table conditions and opponents?
Am I leaving bad tables and seats?
