Pot Limit?

i'm thinking of trying some pot limit HE in the next few weeks.
anyone have any tips/strats/advice on PL25/PL50?
any help is greatly appreciated.

My concern with PL is that because it's a less fashionable game, the people who play there are much more likely than at NL to know the basics and have a solid game. Is this a reasonable worry?

Ive never played any PL tables but Im not sure this is completely true. At the higher levels, yes, there will probably be a bigger concentration of better, thinking players; however, at the lower stakes I really think its the opposite and most dont really know what they are doing at all. I remember Pelion telling me that he found the $25pl tables to be noticeably softer than the $25nl tables. Its kind of like how in any given Omaha SNG you can expect somebody entered it thinking it was holdem and freaked out when they got more than two cards, and then most of the others are trying something new.

On the first point, having played about 25K hands at 25PL then moving to 25NL, I didn't find much difference between the 2 games. However I sense there are more fishies at the NL because of it's popularity.

On the second point ... like when I get in a hurry to join a full table SnG (usually $5 or $10) ... get seated ... dealt A A on the first hand ... try to raise 6xBB only to find out I have joined a Limit game. Holy crap ... now what?
