    It refers to playing style. TAG = Tight-Agressive. LAG = Loose-Agressive. FISH = Loose/Passive.

TAG usually refers to someone as tight-agressive (or rarely, tight agressive game.

LAG, just replace tight with loose.

You'll see all kinds of variations. ie TAG, TAg, TAgg, tag, tagg, TAGG, they all mean the same thing.

You're really not going to find full games where all the players meet a certain description. Like a lot of times people will be in a rocky game and call the game tagg, where it's so laughably not tagg it's not even funny. It's more like super tight/passive, with a few somewhat agressive players in the mix.

You'll rarely see 'tag' or 'lag' games. The two most standard games are weaktightpassive (pokerstars) and loosepassive (partypoker). The higher the stakes, the more decent tags and lags are thrown in the mix.
